Ferrite magnet is a kind of permanent magnet mainly made of SrO or BaO and Fe2O3 as raw materials. It is a sintered permanent magnet material, composed of barium and strontium iron. In addition to strong demagnetization performance, this magnetic material has the advantage of low cost. Ferrite Magnet Pot is hard and brittle, which needs special machining technology. Heterotropic magnets, because they are oriented in the direction of manufacture, must be magnetized in the direction taken, while homogenous magnets, because they are not oriented, may be magnetized in any direction, although a slightly stronger magnetic induction is often found on the smallest side of the compression plane. The magnetic energy product ranges from 1.1MGOe to 4.0MGOe. Due to low cost, ferrite magnet has a wide range of applications, from motors, speakers to toys, crafts, so it is the most widely used permanent magnet material.
Ferrite magnet pot is magnet encased in a steel shell, shaped like a pot. Through the magnetic circuit design, the steel shell will increase its tension. Ferrite magnet pot mainly has these types: sink pot magnetic, through hole pot magnetic, internal thread pot magnetic, pot magnet center with screw hole. It is often used in magnetic hooks, door cloggers, traction lights and magnetic fixtures.
The Ferrite magnet pot in this group have a countersunk borehole (CSF) or an internal thread (ITF). They are made of ferrite and not neodymium like the otherwise identical countersunk pot magnets and pot magnets with internal thread. They have therefore a lower adhesive force and are larger. But they are cheaper than neodymium magnets and can be used outdoors as well.
