Today I will tell you about the magnetization method and process of samarium cobalt rare earth permanent magnet. Samarium-cobalt permanent magnets are not magnetic when they are first made. Like other magnets, they must be magnetized to become magnetic. The magnetization method adopts pulse magnetization and uses a magnetizing machine.
The working principle of the pulse magnetizer: Use a power supply or other current source to generate instantaneous high-intensity current pulses. This is usually accomplished by charging a capacitor, using a high voltage pulse generator, or other power source. The generated current pulse is passed through the coil to the permanent magnet material. The coil is usually wrapped around a permanent magnetic material to ensure that the current pulses are efficiently delivered into the material. Due to the high intensity of the current pulse, it generates an instantaneous high-intensity magnetic field in the permanent magnet material. This instantaneous magnetic field is enough to change the direction of the magnetic moment inside the permanent magnet material and magnetize it.
What is the magnetization process of samarium cobalt magnet?
1. Before magnetization, some preparation work needs to be done on the samarium cobalt magnet, such as cleaning the surface and removing possible contaminants to ensure better magnetization effect.
2. First, you need to determine the magnetization direction of the samarium cobalt magnet. This is very important and must be in compliance with customer requirements.
3. When packaging magnets, spacers need to be added between products, except for single-piece magnetization.
4. Put the product into the magnetizing coil of the magnetizer for magnetization. The magnet must be tightly plugged into the magnetizing coil and hold it down with your hand.
5. Pack the magnetized products according to customer requirements.
