As we know, magnetism is determined by the microstructure and magnetic moment in a material. When exploring magnetic properties, we also need to consider other properties of the material, such as conductivity, thermal conductivity, and mechanical properties. Therefore, in order to understand the magnetic properties of a material, we need to understand the various properties of the entire material. This requires us to be positive in our research and avoid negative content.
Magnetic property refers to the magnetization generated by a magnet under an external magnetic field. The level of magnetic properties depends on the internal characteristics of the magnet material and the influence of external factors. There are several main methods for measuring magnetic performance.
1. Magnetic flux density: Refers to the size of the magnetic field inside the magnetic body, which can also be understood as the magnetic flux passing through the magnetic field per unit area. The higher the magnetic flux density, the higher the magnetic properties.
2. Residual magnetic density: The remaining magnetic field strength of a magnet after magnetizing under a rotating magnetic field and removing the magnetic field. The higher the residual magnetic density, the higher the magnetic properties.
3. Coercive force: When the magnet reaches saturation magnetization under the action of a magnetic field, the magnetic field is removed, and a certain amount of magnetization remains in the magnet. This residual magnetization is called coercive force. The greater the coercive force, the higher the magnetic properties.
4. Magnetic permeability: The ratio of the magnetic field strength generated by a magnet during magnetization to the magnetic field. The higher the magnetic permeability, the higher the magnetic properties.
5. Magnetic resistance: The resistance generated by the internal magnetic flux circuit of a magnet. The smaller the magnetic resistance, the higher the magnetic properties.
The above methods can be used to measure and evaluate magnetic properties. In actual production and application, it is necessary to choose the most suitable measurement method based on specific needs and material characteristics to ensure the excellent performance of the magnet.
